I'm assuming you're talking about the Crye LV-MBAV, and not the TT one which I have no experience with, or knockoffs. I believe the Tactical Standalone plates they were designed to fit are 1" thick, but I'd be more worried about the excessive weight than the thickness; those same plates are under 5lbs in size medium versus almost 9 for the 1155s, and it's a low vis carrier.
