The Rolex Submariner was being described to me as a very versatile watch - daily beater, dress watch, looks good with different straps and bands, etc. I choose the No Date version (114060), because the dial looked cleaner to me. Rolex steel prices and the whole AD game are getting ridiculous though, so I recently picked up a VSF 114060. These are my personal impressions going from genuine to replica. First of all, the VSF is incredibly close to the original.
